Clicking Sync with Yahoo pulls current standings, matchup scores, and schedule data from your Yahoo Fantasy league and writes it into the site's database. It recalculates Power Rankings using the weighted formula (all-play record, win %, points for, margin of victory, strength of schedule, recent form, and streak) and updates the Standings table automatically.

This is a manual, on-demand sync — nothing runs automatically or on a schedule. Click it whenever you want the site refreshed, typically once or a few times per week. You can still manually edit Power Rankings and Standings afterward if you want to add commentary or make adjustments.
